Eight years ago we helped Duo County virtualize their 70 data center servers down to five. This environment served them well. As we planned for their refresh, it was their critical priority to reduce their footprint even further, upgrade their system and cut expenses, primarily by eliminating cooling costs.

Duo County came back to Matrix asking for the solution. We provided them with a custom architecture for their needs with a HPE VSA Hyperconverged Architecture which included Veeam and VMWare. The Duo County system was reduced to three servers in a true hyperconverged solution that incorporated their SAN and compute in one platform, was easier to manage, and three times as powerful.

Matrix reduced Duo County’s costs in heating, power, maintenance and risk. In addition, their admins’ responsibilities were vastly streamlined for efficiency. We appreciate it when they say Duo County won’t talk to anybody about their data center but Matrix Integration.
Management of our network is much easier now. The streamlining of our infrastructure and the upgrades in security and backups mean that we can focus on supporting our company as it continues to grow.
