  • With two locations in Nashville, Indiana, Hotel Nashville and Seasons Lodge was looking to upgrade its old PBX phone system as well as save on costs and streamline operations between two locations. Ideally, they wanted a solution to help employees quickly identify inbound calls and either service them directly or route them for immediate, on-site assistance.

  • Matrix Integration began the project with a thorough site survey and found that Hotel Nashville needed additional network infrastructure to support MiConnection, Matrix’s fully-hosted and managed cloud-based phone solution. The team’s plan increased overall network security with a next-generation firewall egress and voice prioritization, including power-over-ethernet switching, guest wireless and business wireless.

    Matrix Integration took care of all the details, removing any complexity for the hospitality company and paving the way for the new state-of-the-art phone system. MiConnection is cloud-based and requires very little hardware. It also comes with options that allowed Hotel Nashville to easily customize a solution to identify and handle inbound and internal calls from any location, including mobile and off-site locations.

    The system was built to have 99 percent uptime, with backups, redundancy, service and troubleshooting all handled by Matrix Integration. Finally, the MiConnection agreement includes system training for all new employees as well as keeping the system updated at all times, removing another set of tasks from Hotel Nashville’s plate.

  • Hotel Nashville was able to reallocate what it was previously spending on phone services to cover the costs of the updated network and quickly begin saving with the new, lower monthly costs of MiConnection. The updated phone system is easy to manage and maintain, and with MiConnection, Matrix is always on call if help is needed. Overall, the company uses fewer staff hours managing communications issues, devoting more time to customer service and operations.
