Universal Package is a mainstay in the supply-chain industry, a leader in manufacturing customized packaging and materials for more than 15 years. Because of continued growth, the company was moving its offices and manufacturing facilities to a new location, and decided it was the perfect time not just to update their IT infrastructure, but find a strategic IT partner to grow right along with them.

Matrix Integration worked closely with Universal Package to determine the best solution for the overall IT architecture as well as for specific problems members of the company had encountered in the past. The move was the first stage of the project, which included setting up a new VOIP telephone system and the network and wireless infrastructure that could handle the company’s design and production needs.
For the long-term, Matrix Integration and Universal Package set up a tailored MiAssurance contract that essentially serves as an outsourced IT department. The contract includes 24/7 systems monitoring, managed backups, disaster recovery, and a scheduled refresh cycle for both hardware and software]. and allows Universal Package to focus on its core business, knowing that Matrix Integration is always there for immediate help as well as strategic help for the company’s expanding needs.

Matrix started working onsite and onboarding staff in three weeks, just in time for Universal Package’s move to the new location. The company was up-and-running without any interruption in service for its customers. With a partner in Matrix Integration, Universal Package’s business is now firmly grounded on a solid platform of monitoring and support to keep its technological infrastructure running smoothly, and consistent support, expertise and guidance for issue resolution and future planning.
